UAE authorities release detained webmaster (The Daily Star Lebannon)
A Web site owner jailed for defamation in the United Arab Emirates has been freed on bail but it was unclear Monday if charges against him, which have raised concerns among rights groups, would be dropped. Mohammad Rashed al-Shehhi, owner of the popular Web site majan.net, was released on bail on Sunday.
